Bodegas Félix Callejo, Ribera del Duero

Bodegas Félix Callejo is a family winery in the truest sense of the term.  The whole family is involved in the business from the winemaker to the export manager to the marketing manager with the knowledge and passion having been passed down through three generations.

The Bodega has 100 hectares of vineyards in Sotilllo de la Ribera at 850 metres altitude on small south-facing slopes.  Lime-rich soil of ideal texture combined with the characteristically mild climate of the area, create the ideal conditions for producing elegant wines with defined fruit and sparkling acidity.

This is a Ribera del Duero winery producing excellent quality across the range and has been rewarded with numerous national and international awards including an extremely impressive 97+/100 in The Wine Advocate for its Félix Callejo 2005.
