The estate of Domaine de la Boissoneuse was taken on in 2000 by Julien Brocard, Jean-Marc Brocard's second son. He not only took over the vinification and vineyard management of this estate but in five years has created a healthy, biodynamic vineyard producing a small amount of chardonnay. This effort has now manifested itself in the only Chablis of the estate, which is a wonderfully powerful indication that the methods used and the lengths gone to in investing in harmony with nature have been repaid with interest.
