New Generation Wines was established in 2006 to exclusively import a selection of dynamic, family-owned, up-and-coming stars from interesting parts of the wine world. Since then it has built up a portfolio of serious and interesting wines from wineries which follow a strong theme – they are owned and run by driven people who demand the highest quality from vineyard to bottle.
Always under constant review and development, the range at New Generation Wines brings together a group of dedicated winemakers whose common goal is to produce handcrafted wines which are both individual and authentic and which are a true expression of their region. The majority of its producers are organic or biodynamic by inclination.
New Generation Wines supplies three main categories of customer:
- London on-trade - from Michelin rated restaurants to casual dining
- Independent wine merchants across the UK
- Selected lines in quality national retailers and multiple grocers
The New Generation team understand that as well as listing wines that stand out from the crowd, they must also be commercially viable. Their list starts at £4.12 dpd exc vat and there is a wide range of wines that over-deliver at their price in the £6 - £30 range, thus satisfying all price points.
New Generation Wines has built up a reputation for quality of service, a quirky sense of humour and an honest approach to business which is winning it many committed customers including: Clear Black Retail, Harvey Nichols, Fortnum & Mason, Hakkasan, River Cafe, Joel Robuchon, Ramsay Group, Providores, Hawksmoor, E&O, Texture, Chez Bruce, The Ledbury, Kitchen W8, Greenhouse, Hotel du Vin Group, The Water Poet E1, The Gunmakers EC1, Le Bouchon Breton, The Fox & Grapes Wimbledon, Corks Out, Good Wine Online, Field & Fawcett, Rainhall Drinks, The Whalley Wine Shop, Last Drop Wines, The Walls Oswestry, Lutyensm, The Boundary, The Victoria East Sheen as well as leading independent merchants across the UK such as Noel Young, Cambridge Wine Merchants, Oxford Wine Company, Wimbledon Wine Cellars, Bottle Apostle, Hanging Ditch, Highbury Vintners, Fine & Rare Wines and Roberson.
